Effingham’s Joseph Garland captured the Pro Division championship of the Marion County CASA Benefit Disc Golf Tournament. The event was held Saturday on the Bryan Park course in Salem.

Garland fired identical rounds of six-under 54 for a 12-under total, posting a three-shot win.

CASA...Court Appointed Special Advocates...is made up of volunteers who represent in court the interests of children in troubled family settings.

Garland donated half his winnings to CASA.
