Burton Passes Gragson On Last Lap For Win

Harrison Burton claimed the Xfinity Series race Saturday at Texas Motor Speedway by passing Noah Gragson on the last lap.

Burton claimed a Toyota win for the third time for Joe Gibbs Racing. But he will not be in title contention in the first round.

Gragson was knocked out of an automatic berth.

Chase Briscoe will be in the finale at Phoenix in November. The other final spots will be deciced at Martinsville Speedway next week.

 

Hamilton Wins Portuguese Grand Prix

British race car driver Lewis Hamilton won the Portuguese Grand Prix Sunday to break Michael Schumacher's Formula One wins record with his 92nd victory,

one more than Schumacher's 91.

The 35-year-old Hamilton is also on track this season to match the record seven championships won by Schumacher, who retired eight years ago.
