Senators' Ryan Named Bill Masterton Trophy Winner

The Ottawa Senators’ Bobby Ryan was named the winner of the Bill Masterton Trophy Monday after publicly sharing his battle with alcohol in hopes of inspiring others with similar challenges.

The award voted on by members of the Professional Hockey Writers Association is given to the player who best exemplifies perseverance, sportsmanship and dedication to hockey.
