The New York Rangers won the second phase of the draft lottery Monday. That gives them the chance to choose winger Alexis LaFreniere, according to USAToday.

Lafreniere led the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League with 112 points in 52 games for the Rimouski Oceanic until the coronavirus shut down the league. He played with Canada in two world junior championships.
