The Illinois High School Association has released a draft of Stage 2 of its Return to Play Plan for high school coaches and athletes.

Again, it's a draft; it won't go into effect until it is approved by the Illinois Department of Public Health. It also won't take effect until the state reaches Phase 4 in the governor's Restore Illinois plan. It's hoped the state could reach Phase 4 status by June 26.

The IHSA's Matt Troha said the draft plan was sent to school officials on Tuesday so they could begin internal preparations should it be approved in its current form.
