Varsity basketball award winners were, left to right, Sawyer Althoff, Annie Frost, Taylor Armstrong, Katie Carie, Callie Feldhake, Hayley Diveley and Grace Bushur.

Effingham High School girls basketball, swimming and wrestling players were honored Tuesday with at an awards banquet.

Winning varsity basketball awards were Annie Frost (Rebound Leader, Most Valuable Player), Callie Feldhake (Assist Leader, Steals Leader, Highest Free Throw Percentage, Captain, Heart of the Team, Miss Basketball), Sawyer Althoff (Assist Leader, Hustle, Max Wolfe Sportsmanship), Hayley Diveley (Three Point Field Goals), Taylor Armstrong (Captain), Grace Bushur (Best Defensive Player) and Katie Carie (Most Improved).

Letterwinners were Callie Feldhake, Taylor Armstrong, Katie Carie, Haley Diveley, Grace Bushur, Sawyer Althoff, Coralin Ohnesorge, Meredith Schaefer, Kennedy Sowell, Sam Urch, Annie Frost, Ella Niebrugge, Madison Mapes and Manager Serena Buzzard.

Junior varsity basketball award winners were, left to right, Payton Budde, Grace Bushur and Madison Mapes.

Junior varsity awards went to Payton Budde (Most Improved), Grace Bushur (Hustle) and Madison Mapes (Best Defensive Player).

Winning freshman/sophomore basketball awards were, left to right, Natalie Lohman, Lily Waymoth and Lydia Kull.

Freshman/sophomore awards were claimed by Lily Waymoth (Most Improved), Lydia Kull (Hustle) and Natalie Lohman (Best Defensive Player).

Wrestling awards went to Jon Perry (Most Valuable Wrestler, Most Valuable Offensive Wrestler), Colin Marschewski (Most Valuable Defensive Wrestler, Heart Award), Ian Light (Most Improved Wrestler), Ryan Smith (Rookie Award) and Gabe Schuette (Heart award).

Letters went to Ian Light, Dylan Lonngren, Gabe Schuette, Zach Worman, Megan Hanna, Marcus Hites, Erika White, Shawn Cochran, Zac Slifer, Wyatt Sparks, Jordan Herschberger, Jon Perry, Mitchell Strohl, Ryan Smith, Colin Marschewski, Edgar Castillo, Jamison Brown and Robert Reardon.

Letters went to swim team members, Ellie Waymoth and Laurel Hirtzel.
