Emmert Urges Restriction of College Athletes to Earn Money

NCAA President Mark Emmert urged Congress to restrict the ability of college athletes to earn money from endorsements during a Senate appearance Tuesday. With California having passed legislation allowing endorsement income for college athletes and more than 25 other states considering it, the NCAA is concerned it could give an unfair recruiting advantage to schools in those states.
