Devils Place Schneider On Waivers

The New Jersey Devils have placed goaltender Cory Schneider on waivers. If Schneider clears waivers, he’ll be assigned to the Devils’ farm team in Binghamton, New York. New Jersey called up recently acquired Louis Domingue to replace Schneider.

Sabres' Okposo Out Indefinitely

Buffalo Sabres forward Kyle Okposo is out indefinitely after being diagnosed with his fourth concussion in a little more than two years. This marks the fourth consecutive season that Okposo has been sidelined by a concussion. 

Canadiens Without Drouin, Byron

The Montreal Canadiens will be without forwards Jonathan Drouin and Paul Byron for some time. Drouin underwent wrist surgery yesterday, while Byron will go under the knife today.

Capitals Hathaway Ejected

Washington Capitals forward Garnet Hathaway was ejected from Monday night’s game for spitting on Anaheim Ducks defenseman Erik Gudbranson. Hathaway could face additional discipline from the NHL over the incident.
