Kevin Harvick won the fall NASCAR Cup race at Texas for the third year in a row yesterday and locked himself into the championship race in Miami. Martin Truex Jr. clinched a spot last weekend, with the final two spots being determined next Sunday in Phoenix.

Valtteri Bottas won the U.S. Grand Prix, but Lewis Hamilton wrapped up his sixth Formula One championship by finishing second. Hamilton now trails only Michael Schumacher, who won seven championships.
