Shoes 12th at State Bass Fishing Finals

CARLYLE -- Teutopolis High School finished 12th at the Bass Fishing State Finals during the weekend at Carlyle Lake.

 

Winning the team title was Highland with five fish Friday weighing 16 6/16th pounds and Saturday with two fish weighing 4 11/16 pounds for a team total of 21 1/16th pounds.

T-town had four fish Friday for 10 pounds and two fish Saturday for 3 1/4 pounds for a total of 13 4/16th pounds. Team members are Kendall Tabbert, Hunter Sandschafer and Drew Pals. Head coach is Jeff Niebrugge and driver is Corey Sandschafer.

Big Bass Friday went to Highland's Levi Weak with a bass weighing 5 13/16ths pounds. Saturday's Big Bass award went to Carbondale's Jayden Snyder with one weighing 5 11/16th pounds.
