NTC Girls Basketball, Volleyball, Softball Athletes Honored

Athletes in the sports of girls basketball, volleyball and softball were honored at the National Trail Conference Banquet recently. Coaches in the sports of volleyball, basketball, softball and track were also honored.

Named to the National Trail Conference Volleyball First Team were, left to right, Marlee Nolen, Carson Cole, Mackenzi Tabbert and Megan Schlechte.

Named to the National Trail Conference Second Team in volleyball were, left to right, Tinley Mette, Rachel Jackman, Lauren Wojcik, Katie Kabbes , Katelyn Maxey, Mackenzie Potter, and Sydney Gibson.

The National Trail Conference Coach of the Year for volleyball is Altamont's Scott Klingler. The award was presented by Carolyn Wendte, Secretary of the National Trail Conference.

Named to the National Trail All-Conference Girls Basketball First Team were, left to right, Tinley Mette, Megan Schlechte, Clare McHugh and Claire Wilhour.

Named to the National Trail Conference Girls Basketball Second Team were, left to right, Nikki Trussell, Madison Lovett and Jaelyn Robertson.

National Trail Girls Basketball Coach of the Year was Effingham St. Anthony's Bart Wiedman being presented his award by Carolyn Wendte, Secretary of the National Trail Conference.

Named to the National Trail Conference Softball Team were, front row, left to right, Mackenzi Tabbert, Megan Schlechte, Katie Kabbes, Allie Day, Elizabeth Titus, Sydnee Garrett and Angelica Rivera. Back row, left to right, Abby Goeckner, Mackenzie Saunders, Liz Day, Carson Cole, Katie Shumate and Calla Roney.

Named the National Trail Conference Co-Coaches of the Year for softball were, left to right, Crystal Tipton (St. Anthony), Lawrence Carie, presented the award which is named after him, and Gary Kapper (South Central).

National Trail Conference Girls Track Coach of the Year was Andy Nohren (Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City). Presenting the award was Carolyn Wendte, Secretary of the National Trail Conference.
