Trap, Skeet Season Second Week of Competition

Altamont has two co-op athletes from Effingham Junior High (eighth grade), Kaiden Kohnert and Connor Thompson.

The team is doing well in both trap and skeet," said Don Williamson. "Currently we are No. 2 in our conference of eight trap teams. Teams in our conference are: Calhoun HS, Altamont HS, Southwestern HS, Teutopolis HS, Carrollton HS, Bunker Hill HS, Canton HS and Momence HS. There are six conferences based on athletes per the team.

"Skeet we are No. 5 out of nine teams in the state. First year for skeet so just a few teams the first year.
