Boston, San Jose Win NHL Series

The Boston Bruins defeated Toronto 5-1 in Game 7 of their Eastern Conference quarterfinal Tuesday night.

The Maple Leafs loss, along with opening series losses by the Calgary Flames and Winnipeg Jets, means that for the 26th season in a row, a Canadian team won’t win the Stanley Cup. The last Canadian team to win the Cup was the Montreal Canadiens in 1993.
