Capitals Clinch Playoff Berth With Win

The defending Stanley Cup champion Washington Capitals clinched a playoff berth with a 3-2 victory over the Carolina Hurricanes last night. However, Alex Ovechkin failed to score his 50th goal of the season as he was held off the score sheet.
