Another Bob Baffert-trained horse has been made the early favorite for the Kentucky Derby this coming Saturday.

Justify drew the No. 7 post Tuesday and is the undefeated winner of the Santa Anita Derby. He's had a short career, not racing as a two-year-old but posting a 3-0 record this year.

Mendelssohn, a Europe based horse, is the second choice in the 20 horse field. Trained by Aidan O'Brien from Ireland, Mendelssohn drew the No. 14 post.

Baffert has another entry, Solomini, who drew the No. 17 post.

Todd Pletcher has four horses in the field and now leads as having the most starters in Derby history with 52. His horses include Nagnum Moon, Audible, Vino Rosso and Noble Indy. He has gone past D. Wayne Lukas as the trainer with the most horses in the Derby field.

Lukas has Bravazo as his 49th starter in the field.

Twenty-one horses are entered but only the top 20 horses will run. It's the 144th running of the Kentucky Derby which begins at 5:46 p.m. Saturday.
