Kings Celebrate Cup With Parade, Rally

(Los Angeles, CA) -- Fans are celebrating the Los Angeles Kings' Stanley Cup championship. Thousands lined the streets of L.A. for a Monday victory parade, followed by a rally inside the jam-packed Staples Center. Head coach Darryl Sutter thanks the fans for not giving up on them in mid-season.

Nine double-decker buses carried players, coaches and their families through downtown before the celebration moved inside. The Kings beat the New York Rangers in five games to win their second Stanley Cup in the last three seasons.


Blackhawks To Part Ways With Handzus

(Chicago, IL) -- The Blackhawks won't be bringing back forward Michal Handzus next season. TSN's Bob McKenzie reports that the 'Hawks will not attempt to re-sign the 37-year-old, which would make him an unrestricted free agent on July 1. Handzus was acquired in 2013 from the Sharks.


Blues Name Zimmerman President And CEO Of Business Ops

(St. Louis, MO) -- The Blues have named Chris Zimmerman president and CEO of business operations. Zimmerman was president, CEO and alternate governor of the Vancouver Canucks from 2006 through 2009. He spent the last four years as a member of the Los Angeles Kings' Business Advisory Group.
