Effingham County FISH is looking for volunteers to drive individuals residing in Effingham County to medical appointments. These appointrnents are within a 120 mile radius of Effingham. We have 2 vehicles (a van and an SUV) to use for this purpose. The FISH Transportation Coordinator contacts the driver with the necessary information. The Coordinator also trains the driver on the procedures prior to assigning any rides. FISH covers the drivers with insurance and all costs associated with the ride.
