Local Sports Calendar

The Embarras River Basin Agency – a non-profit Community Action Agency (similar to CEFS), has been selected as a 2023 NASCAR Giveaway Day recipient!!!   The 75 Hours of Giving is May 16 - 19th.  

It's the 75^th Anniversary of NASCAR and they want to give back to Non-Profits through the Giveathon.  During this, NASCAR will match your funds to ERBA up to $750.  Many other organizations are matching as well.  You can get some neat prizes (limited supply - directly from NASCAR) such as a NASCAR helmet, coins, t-shirts, and even your name on a NASCAR Race truck!  These would be a GREAT Father’s Day gift OR belated Mother’s Day gift if you forgot her! 

Donations will be used for the Housing Counseling Department, whose programs deal with:  Foreclosure Prevention, Homebuyer Education/Counseling, Rental Assistance/Counseling, Post Purchase – assist of families in securing home repair loans/grants. 

You can help ERBA staff help more families like Darrell's.  His success story is of a Disabled Vet, who was going to be evicted, but is now able to stay in his home. (see Video here:  https://fb.watch/ksbXNEzWEL/ )
