The Master Gardeners of Effingham County would like to invite you to join us to sow a winter garden. 

We will be meeting at the Extension Office located at 1209 N Wenthe Drive in Effingham on Wednesday, December 14 at 6 p.m. 

Everything will be provided.

Winter Sown Gardening is fun and Easy!!  If you like starting seeds or just want a better way of doing that then Winter Sown Gardening is for you.  When you start seeds using this method, you put your seeds outside and let Mother Nature do the rest. There is no expensive equipment to buy, no grow lights, no fuss over the seedlings, no risk of seedlings damping off, and plants are hardier and you can plant them much earlier.
