Moment of Silence At Charles Schwab Challenge

When the PGA Tour returns from its coronavirus suspension on Thursday with the Charles Schwab Challenge at the Colonial Golf Club in Fort Worth, Texas, there will be a moment of silence for George Floyd and to support efforts to end racial and social injustice.

The moment of silence will coincide with the 8:46 tee time, which will be left vacant, reflecting the eight minutes and 46 seconds that a Minneapolis police officer kneeled on Floyd's neck.

 

LPGA's Evian Championship Canceled

It was announced Tuesday that the Evian Championship in France has been canceled because of the coronavirus, the first major the LPGA Tour has lost to the pandemic. It was supposed to be played from August 6-9. The LPGA Tour is set to resume with the Marathon Classic in Ohio on July 23.
