T-town Boys, Girls Golfers Compete

OLNEY -- Teutopolis High School competed in a four-team field at Olney in boys golf action Wednesday.

Olney was the winner with a 165 total followed by Charleston 171, Fairfield 181 and Teutopolis 206.

Scoring for the Wooden Shoes were Drew Kerner with a 46, Andy Niebrugge with 48, Zach Ruholl with a 53 and Gavin Meyer with a 59.

Non-counters were Gabe Schlick 60, Peyton Tegler 67, Paul Niemerg 68, Kayden Zerrusen 69, Gage Wendt 70, Aiden Spour 70 and Nick Buehnerkemper 70.

At Teutopolis

Charleston came calling and picked up a girls golf victory over Teutopolis by a 194-222 count Wednesday.

Scoring for the Wooden Shoes were Averie Bushue 49, Abigail Wortman 52, Maggie Koester 58 and Alaina Helmink 63. Non-counter was Mollie Koester 68.
