The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LVII by the score of 38-35 in what many are calling one of the best Super Bowls of all time.

Quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who barely made it off the field after he was tackled in the second quarter, was named MVP.

The Chiefs trailed 24-14 at the half but scored on every possession in the second half. Mahomes threw two touchdown passes in the fourth quarter and scrambled 26 yards on the go-ahead drive before Harrison Butker kicked a 27-yard field goal with eight seconds left to secure the Chiefs’ win.

Derek Carr Won't Accept A Trade

Quarterback Derek Carr has informed the Las Vegas Raiders that he won’t accept a trade to any other team in the league, the NFL Network reports.

That presumably means that the Raiders will release Carr by this Wednesday’s deadline, making him a free agent this offseason. Carr has spent his entire nine-year career with the Raiders.

Team Fluff Wins Puppy Bowl

Team Fluff triumphed over Team Ruff in Sunday night’s 2023 Puppy Bowl, 87-83.

The night’s most dramatic moment came when Vivianne, a bulldog mix from Colorado, scored the game’s final touchdown by carrying a green turtle chew toy into the end zone.

This was Animal Planet’s 19th annual Puppy Bowl featuring rescue dogs from shelters across America.
