One Month Until High School Football; Hearts Schedule

We are one month away from the 2021 high school football season.

The Effingham Hearts will begin their season on Friday night, August 27 at a new opponent. The Hearts will square off against the St. Teresa Bulldogs in Decatur. Kickoff will be at 7pm.

The Hearts will then begin Apollo Conference action, playing host to Mahomet-Seymour on Friday, September 3 at Klosterman Field.

It's back on the road on Friday, September 10 at 7pm at Charleston, then home on September 17, hosting the Mattoon Green Wave at 7pm.

The Hearts will travel to Taylorville to take on the Tornadoes on September 24 at 7pm, then it's on to Mt. Zion to play the Braves on October 1 at 7pm. 

Effingham will play host to the Lincoln Railsplitters for the Homecoming game at Klosterman Field at 7pm, then will head to Breese Mater Dei on October 15 at 7pm. The Knights move from Week 1 to Week 8 in this season's schedule. 

Effingham will close out the regular season on Friday, October 22, playing host to the Highland Bulldogs at 7pm in Senior Night action.
