NFL Isn't Planning to Delay Its Season

The NFL isn’t planning to delay its season because of the coronavirus pandemic. League spokesman Brian McCarthy told ESPN the league will release its 2020 schedule late this week without any major changes, saying, “We plan to start on time.”

That includes a September 10 opening date and the Super Bowl on February 7. 

 

Dalton Signs With Cowboys

Quarterback Andy Dalton, who was released by the Cincinnati Bengals last Thursday, has agreed to a one-year deal with the Dallas Cowboys. He’ll be a backup to starter Dak Prescott. It’s a homecoming of sorts for Dalton, who lives in Dallas and played at TCU in Fort Worth. After nine seasons, Dalton was released by the Bengals after they drafted LSU quarterback Joe Burrow with the top overall pick. Dalton thanked Cincinnati on Instagram Sunday.
