ESPN is readying a big-money offer to Peyton Manning to become their top analyst for ‘Monday Night Football,’ according to ‘Front Office Sports.’ The report says the offer would be for $18 million to $20 million a year, breaking the record set by the $17 million deal just reached last week with fellow former NFL quarterback Tony Romo by CBS.

Ballots Sent Out

The NFL Players Association sent ballots out Thursday for the proposed collective bargaining agreement, with the players having one week to decide whether to vote in favor of the labor deal, which would run through the 2030 season. The owners have already approved the deal, which includes adding another game to the regular-season schedule to 17 games. But some high-profile players have spoken out against it, saying it doesn't go far enough to reward and protect players for the extra game.
