The NFL has suspended Oakland Raiders linebacker Vontaze Burfict for the rest of the 2019 season for his helmet-to-helmet hit on Colts tight end Jack Doyle during Sunday's game. Burfict has a long history of illegal hits and racked up $165,000 in fines last season alone. Burfict will appeal the suspension.

Jets' Darnold Yet To Be Cleared

The New York Jets got more bad news on the injury front as quarterback Sam Darnold has yet to be cleared for contact due to an enlarged spleen as a result of his mononucleosis. That puts Darnold’s status for Sunday's game against the Eagles in doubt.

Broncos' Chubb Out For Season

The Denver Broncos say outside linebacker Bradley Chubb is out for the season with a torn ACL. Chubb was injured in the Broncos loss to Jacksonville and has undergone surgery.
