NAPERVILLE -- Effingham High School graduate Terrence Hill helped North Central College to a football victory last week.

Hill, a sophomore running back, had a nine-yard touchdown grab from quarterback Broc Rutter and the Cardinals went on to pound Christopher Newport Va. University, 43-13.

Hill played in all 12 games at running back last season as a freshman. He ranked third on the team in rushing with 399 yards and six touchdowns on 82 carries (4.9 yards per carry). He caught six passes for 77 yards and a touchdown. He gained a season-high 140 yards from scrimmage in a 59-0 win over Carroll, running 15 times for 96 yards and a touchdown while catching three passes for 44 yards and a score. He was named Academic All-CCIW.

If area football fans would like to see Hill, he and his teammates will be back in action Saturday against Washington University in St. Louis, Mo. at 5 p.m.
