Veteran tight end Jason Witten has un-retired and is rejoining the Dallas Cowboys. Witten retired last spring to join ESPN’s Monday Night Football, but it was rumored he might return to the Cowboys in December after starting tight end Geoff Swaim went on injured reserve with a fractured wrist.


Manziel Offer Chance To Work For AAF

Johnny Manziel’s people got in touch with Alliance of American Football almost immediately after he was cut loose by the Canadian Football League. The Alliance has already offered Manziel a chance to work out for their teams.


Thomas Turns Himself In

Former Denver Broncos and Houston Texans wide receiver Demaryius Thomas turned himself in on charges of vehicular assault, reckless driving and not having proof of insurance. The charges stem from a car crash last month near downtown Denver when his SUV went off the road and flipped end-over-end, seriously injuring one of his passengers.
