Colts' Vinatieri Becomes All-Time Scoring Leader

Indianapolis Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri passed Morten Andersen Sunday to become the NFL’s all-time scoring leader. Vinatieri made a 25-yard field goal with 29 seconds left in the first half against the Oakland Raiders to surpass Andersen's 2,544 career points.


Chiefs' Mahomes Makes History

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes made history again Sunday when he joined Peyton Manning and Tom Brady as the only quarterbacks with 25 TD passes through eight games. Mahomes is also on pace to join Manning and Brady as the only QBs to throw for at least 50 touchdowns in a season.

 

Changes In AP Football Poll

There are record changes in the Associated Press college football poll after a season-high 11 ranked teams lost this weekend. However, the top of the poll was mostly unchanged as No. 1 Alabama, No. 4 LSU and No. 5 Michigan were idle and No. 2 Clemson and No. 3 Notre Dame both won easily.
