(Winston-Salem, NC) -- The Demon Deacons fell to Clemson 34-20 in ACC action on Thursday. John Wolford tossed two touchdown passes on just 88 yards in the loss with Dezmond Wortham rushing for a team high 30 yards. Cam Serigne caught both scores and finished with three catches. Wake falls to 2-7 and remains winless in conference play. The team is on the road next week against NC State.


Fighting Illini On A Bye

(Champaign, IL) -- The Illinois Fighting Illini have no game Saturday. Illinois has a bye this weekend. The Illini got hammered 55-14 at Ohio State last Saturday to slip to 4-5 overall and 1-4 in the Big Ten. Illinois will be back on the field next Saturday when 6-2 Iowa comes to Champaign.
