JFL Registration Scheduled in June

Registration for Effingham Junior Hearts Football League will be held at the EHS Cafetorium June 10, 12, 16 or 18 from 5-7 p.m. or June 8 or 22 from 1-2:30 p.m.

To participate in the league, a player must be at least nine years old and entering the fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh or eighth grades and cannot exceed 15 years of age as of October 1, 2014. Bring a copy of a birth certificate, sports physical, emergency contact information and registration fee.

The fees for football players and cheerleaders are, one child $100, two children from the same family $175, three children from the same family $225, four children from the same family $250 and mascots $50.

Unit 40 will offer sports physicals June 2 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at EHS Gym.

Other important dates are July 19, equipment handout, July 21-25, camp dates and July 28 practice begins.
