T-town Junior High Boys Capture Cross Country Win

The Teutopolis Junior High School boys' cross country team began its season with a victory Tuesday evening over Jasper County, 21-36.

Jarrett Hardiek was T-town's top runner, finishing first, with a time of 13:05. Alex Probst, Jacob Schmidt and Ian Copple finished third, fourth and fifth respectively. Evan Blievernicht rounded out the scoring in eighth place.

Ben Carr finished first for Jasper County in second place with a time of 13:45. Also scoring were Tucker Rieman sixth, Cole Farley seventh, Crayton Chesnut ninth and Jarrett Tharp 12th.

T-town is back in action Saturday at the Cumberland Invitational.
