Isabella Keller First At Tuscola C.C. Invite

TUSCOLA -- Effingham St. Anthony's Isabella  Keller won the Tuscola Cross Country Invitational Saturday with a time of 16:53.16. Second place went to Shelbyville's Tessa Bowers in 18:03.66.

St. Anthony runners competing were Aubrey Denning 10th in 19:38.26, Emma Helimnk 20th in 21:10.74 and Ava Faber 77th in 24:47.01.

Tolono Unity won the team championship with 27 points followed by Clinton 72, Shelbyville 87, Urbana University 117, Downs Tri-Valley 165, Paxton-Buckley-Loda 173, Marshall 201, Tuscola 209, Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond 220, Neoga 244, Paris 267 and Fairbury Prairie Central 314.

Competing for Neoga were Lexie Fletcher 47th in 23:12.63, Libby McGinnis 50th in 23:28.15, Addison Mast 68th in 24:09.50, Annie Clark 86th in 25:23.37, Natalie Beaumont 94th in 25:46.64, Atalia Osborn 99th in 26:12.88 and Megan Baker 119th in 28:02.82.

In the boys meet, Tuscola won the team championship with 69 followed by Tolono Unity 119, Urbana University 125, Clinton 128, Cumberland 183, Cerro Gordo 184, Paris 213, Broadlands Heritage 216, Maroa-Forsyth 255, St. Anthony 265, Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City 272, Fairbury Prairie Central 275, Shelbyville 300, Villa Grove 333, Downs Tri-Valley 357, Sullivan 384 and Argenta-Oreana 498.

St. Anthony's Julius Ramos led the area runners in seventh with a time of 16:27.76.
