Two City Schools Square Off Thursday

Effingham captured both the boys and girls cross-country events run Thursday at Community Park.

In the boys race, it was Effingham 25, St. Anthony 30, while in the girls race, it was Effingham 15, St. Anthony 41.

Effingham's Andrew Donaldson was the overall winner in 16:51, while St. Anthony's Griffen Elder took second place at 17:04.

Effingham's Jessica Larsen won the girls' race in 20:36.6, while Emma Helmink was the top St. Anthony runner in 23:40, finishing 20th overall.
