Nuggets Roll Raptors

(Toronto, Ontario) -- Nate Robinson scored 23 points in 24 minutes off the bench to lead the Nuggets in a 112-98 win over the Raptors at the Air Canada Centre.  Timofey Mozgov added 16 points with 15 rebounds as Denver improved to 10-and-6 with its sixth straight wi Kenneth Faried totaled 12 points and 12 rebounds and Ty Lawson chipped in 16 points. Denver's bench scored 72 points in the win. Rudy Gay finished with 23 points and nine rebounds for Toronto.  Jonas Valanciunas added 18 points and 11 rebounds. The Raptors dropped to 6-10.


Pacers Pop Clippers

(Los Angeles, CA) -- Paul George posted a game-high 27 points to go with six rebounds and five assists as the Pacers escaped Los Angeles with a 105-100 win over the Clippers. David West tallied 24 points and 12 rebounds for Indianapolis, which has won seven straight to improve to 16-1. Lance Stephenson added seven points, 10 rebounds and six assists in the win. Roy Hibbert contributed 19 points and eight caroms for the Pacers. Jamal Crawford totaled 20 points off the bench for Los Angeles, which had won four in-a-row. Chris Paul provided 17 points and 10 assists for the Clippers. DeAndre Jordan and Blake Griffin each had a double-double in the setback.


Pistons Sink Sixers

(Auburn Hills, MI) -- Andre Drummond totaled 31 points, 19 rebounds and six steals to guide the Pistons to a 115-100 win over the 76ers at The Palace.  Brandon Jennings added 20 points, 12 assists and six boards for Detroit, which snapped a two-game slide. Josh Smith also scored 20 points with five assists for the Pistons. Michael Carter-Williams tallied 15 points, six rebounds, six steals and six assists for Philadelphia, which has lost four in-a-row.  Thaddeus Young had 24 points and five caroms in the loss.


Warriors Down Kings

(Sacramento, CA) -- Stephen Curry sank two free throws with under 10 seconds to play to lift the Warriors to a 115-113 win over the Kings in Sacramento.  Curry ended with 36 points, 10 assists and seven turnovers for Golden State, which snapped a two-game slide. Klay Thompson tallied 28 points on 8-of-11 shooting from three-point range. DeMarcus Cousins totaled 24 points and six rebounds for Sacramento, which has lost four in-a-row. Marcus Thornton had 21 points while Isaiah Thomas contributed 19 points and eight assists with seven turnovers off the bench.


Heat Bop Bobcats

(Miami, FL) -- The Heat overcame a 12-point deficit to start the fourth quarter and defeated the Bobcats 99-98 at AmericanAirlines Arena. Chris Bosh scored 13 straight points late in the game, nine on three-pointers. He finished with 22 points and nine rebounds. LeBron James led Miami with 26 points. The Heat won their 10th straight game to improve to 14-3. Kemba Walker's 27 points led the Bobcats. Al Jefferson added 16 points and 13 rebounds. Charlotte dropped to 8-10 with its third loss in the past four games.


Durant, Thunder Top T'wolves

(Oklahoma City, OK) -- Kevin Durant posted a triple-double with 32 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds as the Thunder trounced the Timberwolves 113-103 from Oklahoma City.  He added four blocks and four steals in the win. Russell Westbrook tallied 19 points and five assists for OKC, which has won seven in-a-row. Reggie Jackson scored 18 points off the bench for the Thunder. Kevin Martin scored 24 points against his former team in defeat. Kevin Love had 16 points and 12 rebounds while Nikola Pekovic totaled 22 points and 10 boards for Minnesota, which has lost four-of-five overall.


Pelicans Beat Knicks, Lose Davis

(New York, NY) -- Ryan Anderson came off the bench to score 31 points with six rebounds and lead the Pelicans in a 103-99 win over the Knicks at Madison Square Garden. Anthony Davis scored seven points before leaving in the first quarter with a non-displaced fracture in his hand. There's no timetable for his return.  Tyreke Evans added 24 points and seven assists off the bench while Jrue Holiday had 11 points and nine assists for New Orleans, which has won five of seven to move to 8-8. Carmelo Anthony led New York with 23 points and ten rebounds while Tim Hardaway Jr. scored 21 points off the bench. Andrea Bargnani had 17 points and seven boards as the Knicks lost their ninth straight to fall to 3-13.

 


Blazers Hang On For Win Over Lakers

(Los Angeles, CA) -- The Blazers almost blew a 20-point lead in the second half, but held on for a 114-108 win over the Lakers at the Staples Center.
Los Angeles trailed 101-100 with three minutes to play, but the Blazers finished the game on a 13-8 run to improve to 14-3. LaMarcus Aldridge scored 27 points and grabbed nine rebounds.  Damian Lillard added 26 points and nine assists, including four three-pointers. Xavier Henry led L.A. with 27 points.  Jodie Meeks added 20 points. Portland outscored the Lakers by 17 in the third quarter but were outscored by 14 in the fourth.  Portland has won 12 of its last 13 games. The Lakers fell to 9-9 and their brief two-game win streak came to an end.

 

Bulls Host Pelicans Tonight

(Chicago, IL) -- The Bulls play host to the New Orleans Pelicans tonight at the United Center. Chicago lost to the Cavaliers on Saturday and fell to 7-8. The Pelicans beat the Knicks in New York last night and sit at 8-8. Tonight's tip is set for 7:00.
