The Bulldogs took a 12-8 opening quarter lead as Ryan Schmidt and Nick Ruholl tallied four points each. But SEB came roaring back with a 13-8 second period to move ahead by a point at halftime. Lowell Wilhour knocked in four of four from the free throw line while Collin Maxey and Josiah Maxey nailed a three-pointer each.
St. Anthony then got on an offensive roll with a 22-7 third period run. Max Koenig scored eight points while Schmidt added six more to his total.
Adam Atwood was the lone player for SEB to connect on a field goal in the period with three for six points.
St. Anthony continued on with a 14-10 final period.
Schmidt finished with 16 points on six field goals and four of four at the free throw line. St. Anthony was a perfect 10 of 10 at the line. Also in double figures was Koenig with 10.
St. Elmo/Brownstown was led by Atwood with six field goals and three of nine at the line for 15 points.
St. Anthony also claimed the junior varsity win, 53-40. Miles Waldhoff scored 11 points and Henry Brent 10 for the Bulldogs.
St. Elmo/Brownstown was led by Vadim Plum with 14 and Trenten Monnet with nine.

At Mahomet
Effingham traveled to Mahomet-Seymour for an Apollo Conference matchup and fell to the homestanders, 59-37.
Mahomet-Seymour edged out to an 8-3 opening quarter lead and led 18-10 at halftime.
The Bulldogs got rolling with a 23-10 third period to put the game away.
Effingham was led by Nolan Fearday and KJ Kellams with 11 points each. Fearday hit two field goals and was seven of 10 at the line. Kellams hit four field goals, three of those from three-point range.

Teutopolis put this one under the win column early with a 15-0 run on Bloomington Central Catholic and finished out with a 54-41 victory during homecoming festivities Friday.
The Wooden Shoes led 26-12 at halftime and then held off BCC in the second half.
Three players hit double figures for T-town. Garrett Gaddis led the way with 15 points while Joey Niebrugge added 12 and Tyler Pruemer 10.
Pruemer pulled down nine rebounds while J. Niebrugge added seven boards and had four assists. Gaddis finished with three steals.
T-town improved to 5-2 on the season while Bloomington Central Catholic dropped to 4-4.
In the junior varsity contest, T-town was a 51-34 winner. The Shoes were led by Henry Thompson with 16 points and Alex Kremer with 14.

At Louisville
Newton High School improved to 6-1 on the season with a 54-32 win over North Clay (Louisville) in a non-conference matchup Friday.
The Eagles tore out to a 26-7 opening quarter lead but North Clay had a 12-9 second period. Newton got back on track with a 17-9 third quarter run.
Caden Nichols was the lone Newton player in double figures with 23. He connected on nine field goals, three of those three-pointers and two of two at the line. Six other players scored in the game.
North Clay was led by Cody Zimdars with 19 points on seven field goals, four of those three-pointers, and one of two at the line.
Newton is back in action Tuesday, traveling to Effingham St. Anthony.

Neoga held a one point lead after the third quarter, but Cumberland came back with an 11-8 final period to capture a 40-38 victory Friday.
The Pirates held a 9-6 opening quarter lead and led 20-15 at halftime. Neoga then moved ahead 30-29 but the Pirates finshed with the victory.
Cameron Roedl led the Pirates with 12 points on three trifectas and three of four at the line. Zack Buescher chipped in with nine points.
Neoga was led by James Bullock with 15 points and Braydon Letterle with 14. Bullock hit six field goals and was three of three at the line.

Shelbyville took the early lead and never looked back in a 73-50 non-conference win over Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg Friday.
The Rams took a 19-9 opening quarter lead and led 38-24 at halftime then had an 18-9 third period.
Four players hit double figures for the Rams led by Wells with 16. Boehm added 15, Hammond 14 and Jokisch 10.
Jackson Gurgel led the Hatchets with 20 points on seven field goals, one a three-pointer, and five of six at the line. Aiden Sayers chipped in with 14.
WSS dropped to 2-6 on the season while Shelbyville improved to 5-3.
Shelbyville also claimed the junior varsity contest, 53-14.
Windsor/Stew-Stras will be back in action Tuesday at the St. Elmo/Brownstown Tournament against Patoka/Odin.

Three players scored in double figures as Altamont claimed a 63-39 National Trail Conference win over South Central Friday.
Kaidyn Miller led the way with 16 points while Alec Jahruas added 12 and Aden McManaway 10. Kaden Davis and Dillan Elam were a point away from double figures with nine each.
Jahraus got the Indians off in the right direction, scoring two three-pointers and a regular basket for eight of his team's 12 opening quarter points. Westin Neilsen kept South Central close with five points.
But Altamont went on a 14-5 second period run as K. Miller took over the scoring with seven of his team's points while Jahraus and Davis had a three-pointer each.
Altamont moved into a 44-24 third quarter lead. McManaway knocked in two three-pointers. Altamont then finished out with a 19-15 final period.
South Central was led by Brody Markley with nine points on four field goals, one from three-point range.

Caleb Gephart led the Movin' Maroons with 18 points on seven field goals and four of six at the line. Landen Keck chipped in with 11 points.
CHBC was led by AJ Radloff with 11 points and Kaidyn Calame with 10.
