Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo recently underwent surgery to remove loose cartilage in his left knee, according to The Athletic. He’s recovering in Greece, his home country.

That leaves in doubt his plan to play for Greece in the upcoming FIBA World Cup in late August.

 

Wembanyama To Make Debut Friday

Victor Wembanyama will make his debut with the San Antonio Spurs on Friday at the NBA Summer League event against the Charlotte Hornets in Las Vegas.

Final Four Dec. 7-9

The NBA has announced it will conduct the final four of its first in-season tournament from December 7-9.

The semifinals and final will be held in Las Vegas.

Few details have been released, but it looks like the tournament is patterned after European pro soccer and basketball events, where the top teams go for a midseason prize.
