Lebron James of the Los Angeles Lakers has been named to the NBA All-Star team for the 19th consecutive time, tying a record set by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

At the moment, James is busy trying to top another record set by Abdul-Jabbar, for number of points in a season. He’s averaging 29.9 points and is 157 points from tying the record. At this pace, he should break through in the first week of February.

This year’s NBA All-Star Game is scheduled for February 19 in Salt Lake City.
