WALTONVILLE -- South Central tallied a 60-25 victory over Wamac at the Waltonville Holiday Eighth-Grade Boys Basketball Tournament Monday.

South Central took a 15-8 opening quarter lead behind Westin Neilson's nine points. South Central led 34-14 at halftime. Sebastian Kruger tallied 10 points in the quarter.

The Cougars went on for a 26-11 second half. Neilson and Kruger finished with 16 points each.

South Central improved to 12-4 on the season and will play Waltonville Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. If South Central wins, they will go on to the championship game.
