Effingham St. Anthony picked up seventh- and eighth-grade boys basketball wins over Marshall Wednesday.

In seventh-grade competition, St. Anthony tallied a 37-18 win over Marshall.

Conner Storm scored 10 of the Bullpups 12 opening quarter points as they took a 12-4 lead. St. Anthony led 21-4 at halftime.

Storm finished with 16 for the game to lead St. Anthony. Cooper Sehy chipped in with eight.

In the eighth-grade game, the Bullpups stepped out to a 15-4 opening quarter lead then really went on a tear with a 26-0 second period to lead 41-4 at halftime.

N. Waldhoff led the way for the Bullpups with 18 points while G. Wilhour added 17. St. Anthony improved to 7-7 on the season.
