Meet the Hearts, Meet the Movin' Maroons Nights Scheduled Thursday

Effingham High school girls basketball "Meet the Hearts' will take place Thursday, November 10 beginning at 6 p.m. at Effingham High School.

The evening schedule will be as follows:

6 p.m. -- Introduction of freshman/sophomore basketball players and coaches

6:05 p.m. -- Freshman/Sophomore Scrimmage (one 15-minute running clock quarter)

6:25 p.m. -- Introduction of varsity and junior varsity players

6:30 p.m. -- Varsity-Junior varsity warm-up

6:40 p.m. -- Varsity/Junior Varsity Scrimmage (four eight minute quarters)

 

Meet the Movin' Maroons

Dieterich High School will have its annual "Meet the Movin' Maroons' Night Thursday, November 10.

The senior class will host a pork burger cookout from 4-6 p.m. in the high school lobby. Pre-game music will be played starting at 5:40 p.m. The National Anthem will be played at 6 p.m. followed by the school song being performed by the cheerleaders and dance teams.

The high school cheer, dance, girls basketball and boys basketball teams will be introduced and will perform-scrimmage. Admission to the Meet the Movin' Maroons night is a personal hygiene item or monetary donation to be donated to the U.S. Veterans at the Danville VA Hospital. Below is a list of requested items.
