The game averaged 18.1 million viewers on TBS, TNT and truTV, and was also a four percent increase over last year’s title game between Baylor and Gonzaga, which was on CBS broadcast TV.

The entire tournament on CBS and Turner had a 13 percent increase in viewership over last year.

Three Leaving Saint Peter's

Three juniors  who were stars of Saint Peter’s Cinderella run in the NCAA men’s basketball tournament are leaving.

Guards Doug Edert, Daryl Banks III and Matthew Lee all entered the transfer portal Tuesday, their move coming one week after head coach Shaheen Holloway left to take the same position at Seton Hall.

Saint Peter’s became the first 15-seed to reach the Elite Eight, before falling to North Carolina.
