After scoring 44 points and having 17 rebounds in Philly’s 112-108 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers Sunday night, 76ers star Joel Embiid said if he doesn’t win the MVP this season, he doesn’t know what else he could do to get it.

Of the possibility of winning his first MVP, Embiid said, “If it happens, great. If it doesn’t, I don’t know what I have to do. I’ll feel like they hate me. I feel like the standard for guys in Philly or for me is different than everyone else.”

Embiid has 11 games with at least 40 points and 10 rebounds this season.
