Effingham won 8th grade and 7th grade games from Altamont Thursday night, 54-18 in the 8th grade contest and 45-28 in the 7th grade game.

Wyatt Hayes led Effingham's 8th graders with eight points, Braddy topped the 7th grade scoring with 19 points.

Effingham's 8th graders are now 15-1, while the 7th grade squad is 5-11.

Viveto led Altamont's 8th graders with 12 points, while Lurkins paced the 7th graders with 15 points.

South Central defeated St. Peter Lutheran 49-10 in the 7th grade game, while South Central won the 6th grade game 38-19. 

Luke Shumate led South Central with 19 points, while Sigrist scored 8 to lead St. Peter Lutheran.

Teutopolis downed Stew-Stras 31-18 in 7th grade action, while Teutopolis won the 8th grade game 47-24.

Jake Kocher led the Teutopolis 7th graders with 12 points, while Gavin Addis led the 8th graders with 16 points.

Bible scored four to lead Stew-Stras' 7th graders, while Vonderheide led the 8th grade squad with 8 points.

Cumberland swept two games from Jasper County Thursday, winning the 7th grade game 33-21, and taking the 8th grade game 40-28.

Henry Will with 8 points led the Jasper County 7th graders, while Drake Wolf scored 10 points to pace the Jasper County 8th graders.

Roedl with 15 points led the Cumberland 7th graders, while Miller and Bierman each scored 10 points to lead the 8th graders.

Jasper County's 7th graders are 8-6, while the 8th graders are 6-8.

Stew-Stras won the 7th grade game over ALAH 32-14, wnhile ALAH won the 8th grade game 39-22.

Gurgel with 14 and Morris with 10 led the Stew-Stras 7th graders, while Bridges with 6 led the 8th graders.

The Stew-Stras 7th grade record is 14-3, while the 8th grade record is 4-10.

St. Anthony's 8th graders posted a 64-23 win over Shelbyvillle Thursday.

St. Anthony put the game away with a 31-3 first quarter. 

Lauritzen led the way for the Bullpups with 23 points, while Bient added 16. Also in double figures was Denniston with 10 points. Also for St. Anthony: Griffin 7, Brown 6, and Gonzalez 2. 

Will Nohren scored 15 of Shelbyville's 23 points. 

St. Anthony's 8th graders are now 15-2 on the season.
