Golden State’s Stephen Curry broke the NBA’s three-point record Tuesday night, reaching the mark in the first quarter of the Warriors’ 105-96 win over the New York Knicks in Madison Square Garden.

He did it with his 2,974th three-pointer, breaking the record held by Ray Allen for 10 years, who himself broke Reggie Miller’s record. Both were at the game and gave Curry a jersey with “2,974” on it.
