Effingham St. Anthony split girls basketball victories with Shelbyville Tuesday.

The Bullpups easily handled Shelbyville, 47-15 in the seventh-grade contest. St. Anthony took a 27-11 halftime lead and had a 12-2 third quarter.

Aubrey Denning led 10 players in scoring for the Bullpups with 13 points.

In eighth-grade action, Shelbyville picked up a 34-28 victory.

 St. Anthony held an 8-6 opening quarter lead and led 16-15 at halftime. Shelbyville came back with a 5-2 third quarter to lead 20-18 and had a 14-10 final period.

The Bullpups were led by Lilly Gannaway with 12 points. St. Anthony is 7-6.

At Paris

Teutopolis and Paris Mayo each picked up a victory Tuesday evening.

In the seventh-grade contest, T-town stepped out to a 12-7 first half lead but Paris Mayo came back with a 10-3 second half for a 17-15 victory.

T-town was led by Elise Pals with seven points and Gabby Tegeler with six. The Shoes dropped to 10-3.

In eighth-grade play, T-town ripped out to a 13-4 opening quarter and tallied a 42-21 victory.

Anna Probst and Malea Helmink were the one-two scoring punch for the Shoes with 15 and 10 respectively.

T-town remained unbeaten with a 13-0 record.

At Paris

At Beecher City

Pana St. Patrick's and Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City split victories Tuesday.

St. Pats opened with a 13-8 first half lead in the seventh-grade contest but CHBC came back with a 17-10 second half to pull out a 25-23 win.

CHBC was led by Haley Doty with 11 as the squad improved to 12-3 on the season.

In the eighth-grade game, Pana St. Pats stepped out to an early lead then went on for a 46-15 win. Kinsey led the way for the winners with 17 points.

CHBC was led by Madison Dawson with four points. The Bobcats dropped to 8-7.
