NTC Beats LPC In All-Star Basketball Game

The National Trail Conference All-Stars.

The National Trail Conference edged the Lincoln Prairie Conference in the 28th Annual Boys Central Illinois All-Star basketball game Saturday at The Enlow Center.

Members of the NTC All-Stars were Derick Budde (Altamont), Kaden Eirhart (Altamont), Jared Ruffner (Altamont), Derek Kuhl (Dieterich), Jack Westendorf (Dieterich), Adam Fearday (Neoga), Ethan Bible (North Clay), Logan Antrim (St. Anthony), Kennan Walsh (St. Anthony), Grant Nuxoll (St. Anthony), Seth Hotze (St. Anthony), Jace McWhorter (St. Elmo/Brownstown) and Ean Forbus (St. Elmo/Brownstown). Coaches were Josh Zink (North Clay) and Cody Rincker (St. Anthony).

Members of the LPC All-Stars were Jameson Rocke (Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond), Wyatt Romine (Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond), Austin Plank (Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond), Kevin Garza (Arcola), Jesse Quick (Cerro Gordo-Bement), Jesse Quick (Cerro Gordo-Bement), JD Benson (Cerro Gordo-Bement), Ross Hemmen (Cumberland), Wyatt Napier (Cumberland), Brennyn Cutts (Cumberland), Cameron Calhoun (Sangamon Valley), CJ Eakle (Tri-County), Cole McClain (Tri-County), Jake Eversole (Villa Grove-Heritage) and Logan Nohren (Villa Grove-Heritage). Coaches were Brad McGill (Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond) and Curtis Plank (Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond.

Officials were Jared Smith, Troy Krumreich and Eric Parker. The All-Star Director is Justin Roedl (Cumberland High School).

Leading the NTC in scoring was St. Anthony's Seth Hotze with 18 points. Hotze was named the Most Valuable Player for the NTC. Also in double figures were Kaden Eirhart (Altamont) and Grant Nuxoll (St. Anthony) with 13 points each, Logan Antrim (St. Anthony) with 12 and Ethan Bible (North Clay) with 10.

Leading the LPC in scoring was Cumberland's Brennyn Cutts with 20 points. Cutts was named the Most Valuable Player for the LPC. Other double figure performers were Jesse Quick (CGB) with 14 and CJ Eakle (Tri-County) with 13.

Winning the three-point contest for the NTC was Logan Antrim  followed by Kaden Eirhart, Derrick Budde and Kennan Walsh.

Winning the three-point contest for the LPC was Ross Hemmen followed by Wyatt Napier, J.D. Benson and Ausitn Plank.
