Having the NBA play in a “bubble” is continuing to be successful, with no players positive for the coronavirus in the latest test results released by the league Wednesday, the first since July 29.

In addition to playing and living in the bubble at Walt Disney World, everyone must fill out a questionnaire on their phones each morning and measure their temperature and blood oxygen level. Face mask use and social distancing are required.

Creation of NBA Foundation

The NBA's Board of Governors and the National Basketball Players Association Wednesday announced the creation of an NBA Foundation that will work to boost economic growth in the Black community. There will be an initial contribution of $300 million over the next decade, with each of the 30 NBA teams donating $1 million each year over the 10 years.

James Responds To President Trump

NBA star Lebron James responded Wednesday night to President Trump saying that seeing athletes kneel during the national anthem, which many are doing in support of racial justice and against police brutality, makes him “turn off the game.”

Asked about Trump's comments after the Lakers lost to the Thunder, James said, “I really don't think the basketball community are sad about losing his viewership, him viewing the game. And that's all I got to say.”
