NBA Hall of Famer Patrick Ewing, who's currently Georgetown's basketball coach, is out of the hospital and now recovering at home from the coronavirus, his son, Patrick Ewing Jr., said Monday.

The 57-year-old announced Friday that he'd tested positive and was being treated at a hospital. Ewing, taken by the New York Knicks with the Number 1 pick in the 1985 draft, played 17 NBA seasons, 15 of them with the Knicks. He’s been head coach at Georgetown, his alma mater, since 2017.
