Ratings for Sunday's NBA All-Star Game were up eight percent from last year, with an average of 7.3 million viewers tuning in on TNT. This was the first year the All-Star Game used a target-score format, and the fourth-quarter was untimed and aired commercial-free. The ratings for the pregame coverage, which included tributes to Kobe Bryant were up 19 percent.
